Showing Class Descriptions

Classes 1-3 Open Division - Open to all ages. English or Western. To be shown at the walk, trot and canter.

Classes 4-6 Novice Division - Ages 13 years and under. English or Western. To be shown at the walk, trot and canter.

Classes 7-10 Open Equitation and Hunter Division 18" Cross Rails - Open to all ages. Cannot cross enter into any jumping classes exceeding 18".

Classes 11-15 Short Stirrup - Ages 13 years and under. Cannot cross enter into any jumping classes exceeding 18".

Classes 16-19 Walk Trot 18" Cross Rail Division - Ages 12 years and under. Six fences to be judged at the trot only.

Classes 20-22 Novice Walk Trot Division - Ages 13 years and older. Cannot cross enter into any division requiring the canter.

Classes 23-27 - Open to all ages. Cross rails and Verticals not to exceed 2'. Cannot cross enter into any other jumping classes exceeding 2'.

Classes 28-30 - Open to all ages. Cannot cross enter into any other division requiring the canter.

Classes 31-33 - Ages 8 years and under. For riders just off the lunge line. Coaches are allowed to stand in the middle of the ring.

Classes 34-36 Beginner Novice Division - Open all ages. For riders who are moving up from walk-trot. Riders may be asked to canter at the judge's discression. May be required to sit trot and/or half seat.

Classes 37-41 Open Over Fences 2'3" - 2'6" Division - Open to all ages.

Classes 42-44 Schooling Jumper Division - Open to all ages. Class 43 will be timed. Class 44 will be Gamblers Choice (create your own course of 8 fences). Riders will be penalized or eliminated for reckless riding.

Classic Classes (Classes 15, 27 and 41) - Classes will all be run as equitation classes. Must have a minimum of 3 riders to run the class. Prizes have been generously donated by Blue horse Tack Shop, Warren RI.
